Through exercises designed to improve flexibility and strengthen key muscles, you’ll learn to expand your range of motion, be strong and prevent injuries.

This course combines dynamic and static stretching methods, resistance exercises, and conditioning strategies tailored specifically to the needs of dancers, regardless of the style you practice.

For Total Beginners, or beginners who want to LEVEL UP their Tango, and everyone who wants to learn/review fundamentals in a course of 4 classes.

Learn the fundamentals, basic moves, organization of the dance, connection, navigation strategies for dancing.
Ideal for absolute beginners, people who need to review fundamentals, or dances from another genre who want to learn Tango quickly.
You will have a lot of practice and individual corrections.

Fundamentals: posture, embrace, feet positions, basic musicality
Basic elements of Tango (leading and following).
Dance composition strategies.
Navigation strategies.
Movements: ocho cortado and ocho atras, parada sandwich and resolution
Dance etiquette
Be creative and improvise

Who can take this course?
People who like the challenge about learning something new and sophisticated
People who already dance other dances and want to immerse quickly into Argentine Tango (salsa, ballroom, bachata, ballet, modern dance, etc..)
People who have self body awareness through other activities such as sports, acting, yoga, etc. and want to experience a partnering discipline
Beginners who want to review all the basic

You will acquire the knowledge to become a social tango dancer, and attend with more confidence to the regular group classes.

No partner needed, No tango experience required
All gender is welcome to lead or follow
