In our Intermediate+ Class--
For the month of AUGUST, we will work on:

❀✿"One Step… Infinite Possibilities---Improvisation Through the Back Ocho"

A 4-Week Intermediate Tango Series:
Have you ever found yourself asking, "What comes after the back ocho?"
The answer is... almost anything.

The back ocho is much more than a basic movement—it's one of the most versatile moments in Argentine Tango. Every back ocho creates an opportunity to change direction, enter a turn, pause dramatically, play with the music, or create completely different movements depending on your partner, the orchestra, and the space around you.

In this 4-week intermediate series, we'll use the back ocho as our starting point for developing improvisation. Rather than memorizing long combinations, you'll learn how to recognize opportunities, make creative choices, and connect movements naturally.
You'll discover how one simple movement can become the foundation for an endless variety of elegant and musical possibilities.

By the end of the series, you'll stop asking, "What step comes next?" and begin asking, "What do I want to create?"

Week 1
Every back ocho is a choice.

Instead of automatically repeating the same exit, learn to recognize multiple possibilities from a single back ocho.
Develop the habit of seeing several options instead of only one.

Week 2
Building Beautiful Connections
One movement leads naturally to another.

Learn how the back ocho becomes the entrance to many classic tango movements.
Create combinations that feel organic instead of memorized.

Week 3
Let the Music Decide
Improvisation begins with listening.

Discover how the same back ocho can produce completely different dances depending on the orchestra.

Week 4
Creating Your Own Dance
Dancing with confidence and freedom.

Bring everything together while learning to improvise comfortably in a social setting.
Dancing complete songs without relying on memorized sequences
Dance with greater confidence, creativity, musicality, and connection.

This class is designed for both leaders and followers equally since both Guillermo and Laura will be showing both roles.
