Carlos Paredes and Diana Giraldo are the 2006 World Champions of stage Tango --first non-Argentian pair to win this title in this category.
Tango dancers and teachers with 14 years of experience in national and international stages. They have toured countries such as the United States, Panama, Mexico, England, Ecuador, Japan, China, Venezuela, Uruguay, Brazil and Argentina with different shows and Tango orchestras. They are choreographers and have been judges in national and international competations. The have conquered the public with their carisma and "Canyengue" style which goes back to the roots of the tango.
They are the founders and artistic directors of the Jacaranda Cultural Center which is a non-profit foundation supporting all art forms, through programs and activities that include learning, entertainment, offering products and services related to art.
They are the creators of the dance show "DANKO-A history of dance that is another story." To date the show has has presented 16 times since its opening and toured the United States in the cities of New York, New Jersey and Florida.
The show lasts for an hour and twenty minutes, with the participation of 22 dancers, stage effects and an audiovisual presentation that serves as scenery.
