About the Artist:
Fabricio Rodríguez is a singer-songwriter and harmonic virtuoso born in the city of Villa Maria, Cordoba, Argentina.
When he was a kid, Fabricio Rodríguez received a very special gift from his father: a guitar and a harmonica. With this last instrument he felt a very strong attraction, a love at first sight. When he heard the sound, he discovered a different world of sounds, with exquisite melodies.
"The harmonica stopped being the instrument of pocket to become the protagonist of many genres. Today it plays an important role in tango and folklore. For me it is the instrument that allowed me to live the most beautiful experiences with music " He said.
His style is eclectic. His interest in different musical genres have led him to interpret various styles, such as tango, folklore, jazz, pop, blues, country and rock. All these sounds coexist in perfect harmony.
With 7 albums to his credit and numerous presentations abroad and on the most important stages of Argentina, Fabricio and his band have become one of the new artists of Tango, folklore and popular music in Argentina, obtaining many important awards.
Throughout his career he has shared the stage with many Argentinean and International artists singing and playing most of his own songs.
Among some of his songs we should mention IF I HAD EVERYTHING, “chamame” (Argentinean Folk Music) that he composed in 2006 and recorded with Leon Gieco (considered one of the most important musicians in Argentina and in Latin America).
This virtuoso singer/songwriter and his band will start their tour of the United States in May, which will take them to the stages of New York City, New Jersey, Boston, Brooklyn, Arlington, VA, Maryland, Miami, and several other cities.
For the second year in a row, he is invited to play at the Arlington Folklore Festival and at the Argentine Consulate in New York City.
