These last three Sundays of March, at Dance Union before "Practilonga Caminito", you have the opportunity to learn and feel the passion, rythim and joy of the most traditional dances of Argentinian Folk:
MARCH 16th : Chacarera Simple.
MARCH 23rd : Chacarera Doble & Gato.
MARCH 30th : Zamba.
CHACARERA: A lively, happy and mischievous dance originated in Santiago del Estero,( a province at the North of Argentina). It expresses gallantry and romance, and became also a popular dance in between Tango tandas at the milongas. Historically first mention to it is made in the 1850's.
ZAMBA: Very sensual and majestic dance where a couple approaches and circle each other flirtatiously waving their white handkerchiefs very elegantly, and romantically interwine with each other in a dance of love.
All this wonderful dances are very popular nowadays dancing them as a "break" in the milongas around the world. Do Not Miss this opportunity to learn them while having fun !
