About Us
The Tango Society of Boston was incorporated in 1997 as a Massachusetts non-profit organization dedicated to the support and growth of the Argentine Tango.
While there are many facets to the Argentine Tango—the music and the culture being among the most prominent—it is the dance that brings all of us together.
The Tango is a social and participant’s dance and is for everyone to learn and enjoy, regardless of dance background!
The Tango Society also produces the Boston Tango Festival, one of the largest Festivals in the USA and Tango by Moonlight promoted by the Boston media as a 'hidden gem" in yearly Summer programs.
Our membership has people from all walks of life, and has more than 20 countries represented! Come join us at one of our events.
